Anna Kee, Coast Ceramics.

Anna lives on the west coast of Donegal. She has an M.A. in 3D Design (Ceramics), she is also a teacher who feels by teaching clay skills to young people the craft is appreciated and passed on. In the digital age many traditional crafts are becoming obsolete, being a member of the Donegal Designer Makers allows her interaction with other designers which is important in her professional development.

Her work is varied; much of it is based on the image of the human figure. She also makes functional objects like wall vases and ceramic platters. Decoration is an important feature, she enjoys painting with decorating slip and low fired coloured glazes.
