Chic-hens is owned by Inishowen craftsman Shane Houston.
Shane is a mechanical engineer and in the ten years prior to starting
Chic-hens had a business making  detailed and intricate architectural models. He has now turned his skills to making Chic-hens henhouses, childrens play houses,  pet housing, bird houses, feeding tables and bat boxes. Chic-hens products as well as being functional have a strong focus on design and quality.
