Eddie Doherty is well-known for creating Donegal’s fine-crafted, handwoven, tweed products at his workshop in the village of Ardara which is situated on the picturesque Donegal coastline. All of the products are produced from 100% Irish wool and are inspired by the rugged landscape of the area.
After 50 years of weaving, both privately and for large Irish fabric companies, he currently offers visitors blankets, rugs, capes, scarves, waistcoats and hats in the traditional herringbone pattern, as well as a more modern, checkered design.
